Hydra humidifer issues

My wife bought a hydra humidifier for me from Bargain Humidors for last Christmas. It worked like a charm for a while, but over the last couple months its measurement of the humidity seems to be way off. Its reporting about 10-11 degrees higher than two other salt tested hygrometers I have. I turned the dial all the way down to make it more accurate, but its so far off it won't go that far. Also, in the last two days it has given the "needs water" alert twice, even though I added water after the first alert.

I've contacted bargain humidors, but I thought one of you guys might have had a similar experience. thanks,

dylan
