I'm kind of at that point myself Wang Lung. I don't even check my hygros anymore. I keep all my CI Gel cups full (that are scattered throughout my coolers and VinoTemp) and smoke from all 3 of them. I can tell from the cigar if it is too wet or dry.
I see you're in California. I do miss living in a coastal area. While living in Georgia the ambient humidity most of the year was about 65%, so humidity was rarely an issue. I could (and did) leave overflow cigars on the counter for months and they never dried out. When the entire city is a humidor, humidity is the last thing on your mind.
