2003 CAO Black Bengal

A 6x50 Colorado Claro toro, with a fine, smooth texture, smooth cap and hard bunch.

Burn was even,* short, conical coal, light grey, typical ash, and an easy draw, high smoke volume and faint, subtle, fragrant aroma.

Flavor was of ample richness, perfect balance of woody and herbal taste, medium strength, medium body and smooth,* generous flavor.
*
No sweetness, bitterness,* burn on the tongue, sharpness,* or saltiness.

A cigar of elegant character and just great overall,
With a total score of 92 out of 100

I friggin' LOVE cigars

The CAO Blacks have a unique taste. I always keep a few in rotation. One of the first cigars that I remember detecting a variety of flavors in!

Supposedly, the Black line was/is the top of the CAO brands. Cigarbid purchase from memory at much more reasonable price. 20/box and I bid on two boxes selecting the toro size (Bengal). CAO came out with some neat packaging, but you never knew what you were going to get cigar wise. I usually stuck with the box pressed classic maduro and cameroon lines. These never disappointed and some of the red band maduros were absolutely amazing for the price point.

I keep my empty boxes for my MIL's annual yard sale. Crazy what people in this area will pay for empty cigar boxes. This is one of the Black boxes I have saved for the next sale. Hand painted and batch numbered for what it's worth.

I can't post image attachments, but maybe you can add them Sean.

Wow, very cool boxes. Someone will snatch it up for jewelry or trinkets I'm sure
