Had 5 lbs of ground beef to use, so I made a large batch of Skyline chili and beef Stroganoff. I know that it's nothing like the real thing (I wrote an article about how to make the real thing from beef tenderloin a few years back), but the kids will eat it without much complaint and the most cooking I will have to do in the foreseeable future is to boil noodles/pasta.

Kroger has large shrimp at $4.77/lb today and tomorrow, so we're going to be eating a lot of shrimp next week.

Yesterday my daughter had members of the local brew club come over to the house to do some brewing. Fixed chicken barbecue, pork sausages and chicken wings.

Skinless chicken thighs in a sweet and tangy Oriental-style sauce.
Brussels sprouts and carrots medley.
Small potatoes with green pepper, onion and fresh thyme.

Greek seasoned salmon, ranch potato cubes and Brussels sprouts.

Overcooked the salmon. Even with butter it was dry. Potatoes were good. Right amount of crispy.
