My 200 count humi (85% full) is registering a consistent 70% humidity level w/out the use of any humidifier units. Using a humidifying unit with 50-50 solution spikes the humidity up to 75-76%. So I took them out.
Anyhow, I usually open the box at least once a week and try to leave it open for an hour or so to let out some of the moisture. To no avail.....it bounces back to 70%.
I guess my cigars are a bit too moist. Smoking one recently revealed a rather tight draw.
My question would be how do I reduce the humidity levels in the box to a preferred 65% level without doing major damage to the sticks?
