I wouldn't worry too much about how you store them in the cooler, as long as the humidity doesn't get much below 65 or much above 70 - but that's me. Some folks like lower humidity for short term storage.

also, I don't recommend vacuum sealed bags, for that matter putting any kind of sealed plastic bags doesn't make much sense IMO


The main thing is to keep that cooler packed with as many cigars that you can possibly fit in there
