...if it's September, the Phillies must be in the midst of a season ending swoon.

Dont know if you all outside Philly know this, but when Ed Wade was given a 2 year extension, the Phillies brass made no mention of it to the local media, nor to their fan base...because they knew we'd riot. They must think we're stupid because, other than the TO debacle, the news has been hot about
a- they signed this idiot for another freaking 2 years dispite the fact he's never had a playoff team
b- the Phillies would sweep the news under the carpet like it was rotting fish...which it is

F the Phillies. Im going to enjoy watching them sink yet again, lose Wagner to free agency (Wade said "he's the best, why would we trade him, we think we have a good shot at winning it all and would like to keep him after the season" a few days before the trading deadline), Wade keeps his job and the Phillie organization bring out the old "If randy Wolf and Jim Thome had stayed healthy" line of bullshit. Hey Ed, look at the Braves. They've played with triple A players most of the year, and 3/5s of their starting rotattio was out for long periods of time...and they still will win the division! Look at the Cards, w/o Rolen! Dont even TRY that "if we had Thome and Wolf healthy" BS.
