Hi roggiegod! Welcome to the CWBB!

I would be very wary of putting the humidor into the cooler with the icepacks. Although the inside of a humidor is designed to interact with moisture, the finished outside of the humidor was not designed with that in mind. Because a cooler can be very tight in terms of air exchange, moisture would be trapped inside the cooler with the icepacks and humidor with no means to escape. Long-term exposure to humidity could damage the humidor.
