If you are not having problems with humidity control, I would not worry about it. A perfectly tight seal is not necessarily the optimum situation. As those who unitlize coolers will attest, you do need to have some air transfer to avoid stale air problems. If the seal is not good at all, that would be a totally different scenario. Just my .02.
