Who says HS football is boring?

I've been photographing our HS football team for the past 5 years, for the school and local paper.

Before that, I'd sat in the stands for a few years.
Last night I saw a first....
A BIG fight on our sideline.
Seems the opposing teams' QB...smarted off to our coach, after being chased out of bounds. (not HIT...just chased).
Then one of our players said something smart back, and then the opposing team players rushed into our sideline. I think the guy who started it, was ejected, but there was only 5 minutes left in the game.
Anyway, he rushed in, and got the shit beat out of him. Of course, most of his team came with him.
It took a good solid 5 minutes just to break it up.

Maybe our school should look at forming a hockey team now.

(nobody was seriously injured, btw).

What really made the game sweet...was this was the team that beat us in the state championship last year. We beat them 24-0! First time we've beat them in 3 years, and yes, they had a lot of returning starters from last year.
