i just checked one out,i know their a lotta lute.but will they last like 10yrs? i really dont want to pass along a colibri to my son (i really dont want him to smoke either) but u get my drift

I have 4 Duponts and they have worked flawlessly.They all work as good as the day I bought them.

It depends on the Dupont you are talking about. The X.tend is a relatively new lighter. No telling how it will hold up over time. The Ligne II would be one of those lighters you could pass on.
