The Guitar Mastery of Ed Bickert. A little known but extremely talented Canadian jazz guitarist.

Don't laugh, but I'm enjoying the latest from Enya, Dark Sky Island. The craftsmanship that goes into producing her sound is noteworthy--she overlays as many as 60 recordings of her own voice singing in harmony with her lead vocal. As for content, it's derivative of her early work, but it's a good way to take the edge off of irritating computer glitches. Better through quality headphones.

Pretty good listen J, thanks for pointing this album out. It does remind me of her early albums.

It's been so long since she released this, I wonder if she is going to do another.

What are you listening to now?
The Devil’s Symphony by Artillery.
I like to see what’s in the new release section on Deezer. This one I decided to randomly play. Speed metal is alive and well. It’s the same. Hard and fast like it has been for the past 40 years. Makes you want to go get a painful tattoo. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Trans, by Neil Young. Never was a NY fan, but Trans was an attempt to integrate the traditional elements of his music with emerging technologies in 1982. I find it very creative, the production value is great, and it just works on a one album effort. It only sold about 200k copies because it was such a departure from what he had done before.
Of course, the lyrics make absolutely no sense. Cheeses, it's been almost 40 years since he recorded it.
