CAO humidor
Just saw this tonight in my local shop. Does anyone know how the seal is. The design is amazing but i'm a little bit weary of how well the seal felt to me. It closes with little magnets and it just doesn't seem tight.
http://search.ebay.com/search/search...dor&category0= Sorry, I don't know how to post pictures. This is the link to a picture of the same one i found on ebay. Thanks[/url] |

virtually no seal at all. the grain is also very exaggerated and IMO not attractive.

I think it is a nice modern design. Not very practical though. Probably have to humidify each tray. Can't tell much about the seal from the pics. Doesn't have to be perfect. But you don't want any kind of unnecessary gap either. I dunno. For $500, you really have to love that one.

i agree. He was going to give it to me for 300, but the seal definitely scares me. gotsmoke, you confirmed it for me. Even on my cheaper humidor now i have to put slight pressure on it to close all the way. This needs no pressure at all to close. Thanks again.

I have seen the Italia one around from time to time, but did they make a Brazilia one? The Brazilia is a design I would like to have.

Had one in the shop that one of the regular's wife came in Christmas Eve and got it for him for Christmas. He said the humidity is holding fine and his cigars are very happy in their new home.

No, CAO has never made and doesn't plan to make a Brazilia style humidor, I actually contacted their sales department about it because I would love to have one.
