Keith Moon as an innovator probably thebest rock drummer of all time.
and the other guys that play hard... Springsteen once said that a good drummer should sound like the boom at the edge of the universe.... Ringo Starr (although the Beatles were greater as the sum of their parts then as individuals) The guy for John Mellencamp is awesome (don't know his name) but have always noticed his play... Max Weinberg Ginger Baker (Cream) Mick Fleetwood |

My all time favorite drummer is "THE LITTLE DRUMMER BOY"!!!........Noone could play with the passion he displayed. He did however lose a bit of his edge when he kicked his amphetamine addiction in my opinion.
