Doing 3 boneless leg of lamb on the grill, corn on the cob, pasta salad and deviled eggs.

That's quite a feast. It's just me this week--everyone else is in Louisiana.

I was planning on doing a couple racks of baby backs, but the fridge is already full. So leftovers or eat out somewhere.

Just as I have for many, many years, I will be skipping the independence day festivities at my sister in laws house. Ham and salami on french bread for me.

As long as it's been for me to have an actual proper sandwich, that sounds good. Cheddar or Swiss? Havarti would be a nice choice. Add some white grapes and a bottle of rose and you could pretty much build a whole new life around it.

When K and I were courting, we used to do just that and watched the sun go down over Pontchartrain. Precious memories.

Nothing too special here, local brats, a potato salad we really like, have to plan ahead as it takes 2 days to make... and some doctored up baked beans....

We're down in NC with the entire family so we needed to fix a lot of food.
