Tupperdore

Well, I was at a store the other day, and I found fairly large clear tupperware-type containers (8qt or so, actually there were several sizes). It had four clasps and had a handle on the lid for easy lifting. It also came with a removable flat, strainer type portion. Like you could litter the bottom with beads and put the strainer thing on top to separate from the cigars. I immediately thought that it would make a great tupperdore, easy to transport if needed. But it cost ~$20...what do you guys think? I could also pick some up for those who might be interested.

Sounds kinda steep in price. But it does sound like it'll make the perfect humidor. $20 seems high though...I got my 60 qt coolerdor for $10.

It is kinda sad though that you see tupperware now and immediately think of cigar storage.

For sure it's steep...otherwise I would've picked it up right away...but the handle keeps me thinking about it...

Just remember that plastic type containers retain humidty. So you may need more beads than you think.

In CA it's usually good that they retain humidity. We're pretty darn dry around these parts.
