LaLuna Cigars

Cigarking has 2 types of LaLunas for sale. But, IMO they are pricey.

They're not actually La Lunas, they're "La Luna Cigar King Selection." This is supposedly a blend developed by Gael to mimic the old "blue band" blend, and they're pretty good smokes.

And Mikey, if you think $4.40 per cigar for the torpedos ($3.52 with the discount code that Andy provided) is "pricey," you're trying to apply a White Owl budget to vastly better cigars.

If you're looking for good value I have some hints
  1. Avoid no name brands on cbid in anything but 5 packs, and limit your bid (do research on CI website to see what you would pay retail for them)
  2. Think of sticking with the high value brands - consuegra as Rob G posted remain a heck of a value if you like that flavor profile. Mike's and CI have pretty good value brands and samplers too.
  3. Ask for opinions before buying (you done did that!)
  4. Beware of buying more than you can store - trust me I didn't have all those coolers (20+, then 30+) because of my purchasing discipline
  5. If you want a sampler let me know and I will sample you plenty, I still have a good inventory

Doug, the only LaLuna cigar I really liked were the old LaLuna blend. Sorry, but for me $3.52 is pricey for a person on a fixed income. I have cigars that are very tasty and nowhere near $3.52/stick.

Dang!!! When I saw this thread I was hoping the LLNF & LLMF was back in production. I still have a handful of the MFs in my humidity, but my NFs are long gone.

Boy Jon, with the up coming Gulf Coast reunion this brings back memories of the Herf in Panama City when Gael and Marta were our quests.
