Coincidence or ..... ?

This weekend, at the urging of a CW bro, I broke open my "Save for a Real Special Occasion" box and decided to start smoking some of them. Starting with an easy one, I lit a Chateau Fuente and was immediately smitten with what I describe to be the "smoothness" of this particular little vitola. This happened to me once before when I lit up a Savinelli ELR, also an AF product if I'm not mistaken. I also consider the Montesinos to be a nice flavorful smoke and the Cuesta Rey Cabinet # 47 is one of my favorite every-day regulars.

Is this all a coincidence or can I expect the same from the Hemmingways, Don Carlos and AF Sungrowns that I have squirrelled away? Anyone have feedback on the La Unica Cameroons?

Next up, I'm breakin' out some of the ISOMs...

i never cared for the green label fuente products, but the sungrown stuff is some of the best basic line stuff i have ever smoked - love the cuban belicoso and chateau in sungrown... you will be very happy with the hemingway and don carlos and oh, don't wait to smoke them - you could get hit by a bus today.

I believe that the Hemingways, DCs and Sungrowns are gonna be even better than the others you mentioned.

The la Unica Cameroon was a simply fantastic mild cigar. It was real slow to develop flavor, but the flavor and aroma were out of this world.

I would warn you that most of the people here would never even taste the things. They are mild with a capital M.

My "occasion cigars" have found many occasions to come out lately.
1. I woke up
2. I survived another day at work
3. someone walked in my house
4. They looked at me with that smoke me now look
5. I saw things in the middle of the night CWBB
6. My humidor became too full from my first newbie trade
(no longer a problem I have a 50 qt Igloodor now) have to find a new one
7. Someone said do you still smoke cigars. (why thanks for the idea)
8. Because they were there.

born2be, if it was a good smoke for you, then it was a good smoke. Don't worry about all the tough guys here that can't taste a mild cigar, especially the ones that smoke TyCs. I like the 858 green bands, the Hemis and Chateau maduros.

Sorry, JM, I couldn't pass that one up.

Wade, I'm glad you took my advice and opened up the special occasion smokes. Just make sure you have a heavy meal before you try them ISOMs. We wouldn't want you to
