emo, that's somewhat true when referring to non-Cuban cigars.
But, there's one major exception, that I can think of this early. Connecticut Broadleaf is a sun-grown (not cooked maduro). Some companies, even though they deny it, use dye to achieve the darker colour. With Cubans, it ONLY refers to the wrapper colour.
