Connie 84
What a nice surprise to find at the bottom of my large coolidor two bumdles of 84’s. Based on when I was buying from JR’s I’d estimate that these are from around “98 to “02. The cello is a deep, dark brown. I am just on the first quarter of one and what a fantastic smoke! Not only is really smooth flavors that just fill your mouth with wonderful flavors, it holds a really tight ash and has an easy draw.
What a fun find and what a treat! I can’t recall what the 84’s were a sister cigar to.

Tremendous Find.
Were not these the most difficult to acquire, back then? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk

Tommy, it was either these or the 73’s, but I think it was the 84, and why I bought them when they were briefly available. If memory serves, somone posted that fact jere at CW, and I pounced.

I seem to recall the 73 being very popular, but I remember them being a bit more available and the 84s bringing a frenzy when in stock.

Steve, that’s it! Thx!
This is one great cigar, and it has aged incredibly well.

I think the 843 (maduro} is the best Connie there is. I was a Connie 9 whore until I got the 84's. Wish they were a little cheaper- feel Connies went too pricey. There are too many other good buys for $20.00 less
