IPCPR "Mystery Cigar"
No idea what cigar this is due to Jeff wanting me to review somerning "blind."
Appearance: beautiful light wrapper, one of the best rolled cigars that I've ever seen. Just a beaut. Great pre-light nose. Burn: flawless, holding a really nice tight ash. Smoke: lots of smoke from a nice easy draw. Flavor: this is where it went downhill for me. This cigar really doesn't have much flavor to it at all, and the little bit that it does has a slight bite to it like is often found in Mexican tobacco. Based on everything before the flavor issue I was really wanting to like this cigar. But at the end of the day the flavor is one of the most important components. Because of tnat the best that I could score it would be a 2.5 out of 5, and that is probably generous. So Jeff, what was it?

Drew Estates Undercrown Shade. Definitely not anywhere near as good as the Liga Privadas, but definitely not a patchouli stick.
Sorry the flavor didn't perform as well as I think they had hoped. The one I tried had three ligero leaves, but that shade grown wrapper, as pretty as it was, didn't really produce.
