80s songs in commercials
Feel free to add them as you hear them.
Icicle Works, "Whisper to A Sceam", Fidelity Mutual The Fix, "One Thing Leads to Another", another investment company Soft Cell, "Tainted Love", The Passage (New Fox show) So far, I own all three albums. Awhile ago, I heard The Swans' cover of "Love Will Tear us Apart (again)", but I can't fathom what they could possibly be selling from a song that drove the singer to suicide. Then again, I've also heard INXS' "What You Need" used as well, and Michael Hutchence hung himself as well. Own both of those records as well.

Millennials are MAD for 80's music so advertisers are using them wisely.

I think I posted a link to the WSJ about synthwave. Using 80s music as a platform to produce music that would have been mainstream back then.
