Arturo Fuente Gran Reserva Churchill

AF Gran Reserva Churchill

48 X 7-1/4

Wrapper: Cameroon
Binder & Filler: DR
Age: 6 months in humidor

A very nice looking and well constructed cigar. EMS cammie wrapper with light veining. Pre-light draw was easy with a light and sweet tobacco taste. Burn was straight with no touch-ups required, good volume of smoke.

It started out mild with a nice sweet spice character. Just very pleasant all around. The smoke was creamy. This profile dominated the entire first half.

During the second half it jumped up a notch on the body (to medium), and the smoke became more chewy than creamy. The spiciness faded and a sweet tobacco character dominated.

Burned it to the nub. Smoke time about 1-1/4 hours.

Bottom Line: A very pleasant cigar that made for a great smoking experience. Perfect cigar for a summer day relaxing in the hammock. Recommended.
