I hate winter (formerly titled...I hate summer)

Oh I love things about winter, the holidays..and so forth. Everything is fine till I try to go outside and smoke a cigar.
This past summer, was one of the hottest in our area. Came close to breaking a record for consecutive 100+ degrees days.

Then Sept/Oct came along, things cooled off a bit. When you sit out in 93-95 degree heat and it feels cool...it means there have been some HOT days.

Now it's not that bitter cold like North Dakota or anything, we're talking 20s-30s....but the darn windchill factor!

Smoking inside is out of the question right now. So I'll just wait for those occasional "tolerable" days.

On the bright side...I'm not buying as many cigars, and the cigars I have are getting some age on them.

I hear you. And feel your pain.
I was smoking a DT cameroon perfecto #2 on the
way home from a basketball game last night. Thing
was so good that I finished it while walking the dog.
Wind Chill 9.
Could have just let the dog out but dang that thing was good.

I think you could use that patio heater I posted in my Gift List.
I've got one and I can smoke comfortably outside at 30 degrees.

Gotta wait for a still day, and the thing eats propane tanks like candy if you leave it on high.

I haven't had a smoke in a month, and now it's too damn cold to go outside for one.

I need to get my own place with a smoking room.

I just bought a new place, and I felt guilty about wanting a smoking room in it.

Then we had a huge snowstorm... Smokin Lounge is now in full effect.

I know what you mean, plus the dorm buildings around here seem to form a wind tunnel aimed right at the smoking area outside. I damn near got frostbite last time I smoked, but I sure wasn't about to cut short that CAO.

It is getting hard to enjoy my hobby with the cold weather. I ordinarily would enjoy a smoke in my little "office" at home with the window cracked and a fan blowing smoke out the window (although my wife says she doesn't mind she often informs me I am stinking up the house). I need to find a nice cigar friendly establishment to enjoy a smoke and beverage during the cold months. If anyone knows of one in the Waukesha WI area, I'd love to hear about it.

A little ways away, but Appleton Cigar has an incredible lounge, 3 huge overstuffed leather couches, bunch of chairs the same, big screen TV, with all the DVD's you could want (including Scarface) a bar with a staff that totally tends to you, a well stocked humi and great people there every night. Home away from home.
