If you have just gotten a new humidor or for that matter, a used humidor, get a new digital humidity gauge. I had an analog gauge in my first humidor and kept checking and it was reading just fine, but the cigars seemed a little dry. So, I decided to stick in one of my digital gauges and see how it measured. Well, the humidor was dry and the gauge was obviously stuck.
Lesson learned: Invest in a digital gauge and check to make sure it is right at least once a month. "The works of the masters are like fine wine. My books are like water, but everyone drinks water." Mark Twain |
