Saw an unreal show at the Portland Waterfront Blues Festival this weekend.
Clarence Gatemouth Brown, Honey Boy Edwards and Marcia Ball (not really blues, but man is she talented!) were part of the Sunday line up. Edwards was the main reason I was there though. He's one of the last living true Delta Blues dinosaurs and he played an amazing set.

I have/had a decent Honey Edwards CD if I still have it I'll send it your way. I think it was called White Windows. I may still have the more recent one with some interestng interviews on it. I''ll try and remember to look for them. I don't care for Marcia Ball seen her too many times and even though she's very, very talented she doesn't say anything to me. Gatemouth is a great musician but he has trashed eveyone from BB King to Muddy Waters so I hold that against him. I saw him in Memphis and he put on a real good show. They bascially had to run him off the stage, he wasn't through.
