Dupont lighter problem

I have been using a Dupont Line 2 lighter for a while now with a dual flame, but over time it seems to have become a bit gunked up with flint debris. Even on the maximum setting the flame is pretty feeble, and no amount of brushing with a toothbrush seems to help.

Has anyone had a similar problem that they have managed to fix? I don't want to start sticking needles into the nozzle or using cleaning fluids if someone has some good advice about this. Thanks in advance!
