Hi! A little update on this. I cut the tray sides and went to test fit them. I stupidly cut them to 2" instead of 3". 2" is the usual size I make. I was operating on automatic pilot. Never a good idea doing something like this. I can still use what I cut so that's okay. But I will have to cut several sappy boards to get the larger clean pieces I need. I was pissed! So I set everything aside for after my knee surgery. Still haven't done it.
Trays and humidifiers are fiddly work. Lots of resetting machines involved. But I'll get it done soon. I want to use this humidor and sell off a couple others I've had for awhile. Plus, I want to get it done before I start an ashtray stand for my son inlaw. Need to get that done this summer. Just haven't felt the magic for awhile.
But I checked out what I have done so far and man that interior is pretty! And it's a big box. I can fit cigars from two other humidors in there.

Good things take time and are worth waiting for.
