Wink Limewire replacement???
anyone know of a Limewire replacement??? not that I'd use it

Limewire if rife with viruses and any other manner of nasty.
College kids are using Torrents sites and downloads, or FrostWire.
I've used FrostWire, but can't guarantee that it's any better or safer than Limewire.

Frostwire, but it had/has crap on it like spyware, spam etc...

I have used Beemp3.com a few times. Not enough to say its good or not, but it had a few songs i was wanting to listen to.

Both good value for the $, and the artists get paid.

I got the napster mobile program. I can listen to all the music I want, and i can open my playlists on my Android (or iphone or blackberry) and, then I can stream all the music I want - PLUS it caches your last 100 songs for you to play offline if you're away from the NET...

Hear, hear. It's good for the musicians to get paid. That's why I recommend going to places that offer indie (independent artists) music because they often provide a lot of free music, you just need to sift through it and see what you like or don't like. If you like it, buy the album. All the money goes directly to the artist(s) instead of a money-grubbing corporate giant that does little to reward the artist for their work and sacrifice.

Maybe we should just start sharing music on CW, I am sure they wouldn't mind

I have moved on to just streaming music using Pandora, or Flycast.
