High School Football on ESPN

Watching my old HS crosstown district rival #3 Manatee play live on ESPN...and rooting against them of course.

They did have some great teams back in my day though, led by Tommie Frazier of Nebraska fame. You should have seen that guy run the ball in HS. Incredible. We had a guy named Tim Alexander, who went on to start at Oregon St, who could run the option as good as TF back then. Interesting that they are still in top after all these years, one of our games against them was one of the earliest to be featured tape delay on ESPN.

Manatee has nice old brick stadium, it was always fun to play there. Anyway, just thought it was neat and had few memories I thought I would share.

If anyone else has old stories to share, I think it would be cool to hear them.
