This one all over the map. Scores from 20 to 47 with an average of 34.2

Some called a "boring bitter Bastard" while others said it wonderfully complex.

I submitted this one so I'll go ahead and tell you it was an Indian Tabac Limited Reserve Bison.

PreSmoke: 'Oddly shaped torpedo with a pale brown toothless wrapper and
very small veins. The wrapper split 1/2 through the smoke. It's too
soft.'
Smoke: 'Slightly spicy taste with cedar but it's very, very bitter. I
really wanted to throw it out, but about 1/2 in, it got a little better:
less bitter and more full bodied- then the wrapper split. Tastes like a
bitter La Flor Dominica.'
Summary:'Interesting shape on a nickel cigar. It's a boring, bitter
bastard.'

PreSmoke:'This 6.5" x 56 pyramid is perfectly made. It is wrapped in a
flawless colorado Connecticut Shade leaf. It has a perfect draw and
burned razor straight.'
Smoke:'This is an extraordinary cigar. Medium bodied, each draw provides
rich, smooth, cool smoke. It has wonderfully complex flavors of cream and
nuts. Although it is milder then I would smoke regularly the blend is
well is choice.'
Summary:'I don't think I would smoke this cigar on a regular basis, it is
wonderful. I have to imagine that a well-known company makes this
with quality obviously being job #1. I would love to smoke a cigar made
with Cuban tobacco by the same master-blender that conceived this cigar.
I think that would be the only way to improve.'

PreSmoke:'This cigar has a very interesting shape: A narrow cone. A light
brown wrapper with a very nice aroma to the unlit stick. I guess it is an
Avo from the construction. I was looking forward to it, since the only
one I had unraveled from too much humidity. '
Smoke:'This is almost two different cigars or one cigar with a split
personality. The first half was a little bitter, bland with an unpleasant
spiciness. It was one-dimensional. I was making snide comments to
friends about it.

About halfway down in just one draw the taste changed dramatically. It
smoothed out. There was great body, aroma, complex taste even a creamy
smoothness to the smoke. I nubbed it. I enjoyed it so much I stopped
making notes.'
Summary:'Because of the dual nature of the cigar it is hard to rate. The
second half would be more in the 40 range. The first half is more in the
20 range. I wonder if age would shorten the first half.

Would I put up with a bad first half to get to a great second half? I
suppose I would answer that differently every day. I will try this cigar
again just to confirm (and enjoy) the dual nature.

PreSmoke:'A pyramid with a nice tan wrapper. The wrapper looked a bit
fragile and was soft and supple. The bunch was good and there was one
slight hole in the wrapper. It cut well and the pre-light draw was
just right. I could detect a slight burn and spice on the tongue and
thought this cigar might be a full bodied smoke.'
Smoke:'I was wrong about it being full bodied. It turned out to be a solid
meduim stick, with plenty of good flavors. It was nutty and creamy with
just a bit of spice that seemed to come and go. I kept waiting on it to
turn bitter and harsh just because of the shape. Finally it did about two
thirds through, and then the wrapper started to unravel some. I nursed it
along for a while longer but it was just to much work and it kept getting
harsh. So I parted company with it about the 3\4 mark.'
Summary:'Overall I enjoyed this cigar very much. I'm not a fan of the
classic pyramid shape so I don't know if I'll be buying any more, maybe a
shorter size. But all in all a good cigar and a very good value.'
