Need Some Ideas for Loose / Bulk Single Cigar Storage

No real requirements for material, humidification, or cooling as it will be placed in the walk-in on a shelf. Just looking for something that will look nice and store some singles. Thinking of something along the lines of a cube with a few sections in it that i can just stack cigars up in. What would you guys use for the singles other than just keeping them in the boxes? Post up some links to pix or your ideas.

Thanks,

Mikes

Good suggestions from Doug.

Even some old (as in previously emptied) spanish cedar cigar boxes would work.

I just got three cedar drawers from Bob for my Aristocrat mini. I installed them and they work perfectly. I let Bob know and he brought up an interesting point. He said:

It means we are continuing to build our humidors with consistent dimensions when drawers made in 2012 fit nicely into a 2005 MINI.
You can't go wrong with Aristocrat. It's quality through and through.

I used to use empty boxes, but found they were a PITA to get to once they were stacked.
I had some extra material left over from the walls/ceiling of the walk-in so I made singles cubbies.
See pic in the photobucket album.

I measured the overall size I wanted, then cut the thickness of the wood halfway in (from the back end of each piece) so they interlocked. A little wood glue and a back for rigidity and it was good to go!
Hope this helps!

Wow! I haven't seen you in a while, Kevin. It's good to hear from you.

The walk in looks great and I really like the ease of convenience for accessing singles.
