Hi friends,
Has anyone tried the Prometheus Gladiator lighter with cigar cutter yet? If so, is the cutter any good? Thanks. |

IMHO, you are short-changing yourself if you use any(?) of the lighter/cutter combos. The cutter just can't be as easy to use or as efficient(clean cuts) as a quality seperate cutter.
I just bought my first Xikar cutter and it is a quality tool. an Quick Smoker: Best 1/4 mile pass: 12.532 seconds @ 108.31 mph--2001 F150 Lightning-- "I ride with Forrest."

I have a Gladiator with the scissors built in. They cut fairly well, but not nearly as clean as my Swiss Army Knife scissors - especially on larger ring guage cigars. Having said that, it is a very nice lighter/cutter combo that is convenient to carry. If convenience is not the deciding factor, though, I'd get the SAK and a separate lighter.
