Glenn Cornick was original bassist in Jethro Tull. He lives in USA and is in a band called Wild Turkey.

Caught Savoy Brown many times. Lookin In is a fine album. Also like their album Street Corner Talking.

I think Stand Up is Tull's best album. It was a shame listening to Ian Anderson's voice burn out over the years.

Sorry Ron my friend, but Tull's defining album is/was/always will be Aqualung. They have made a whole lot of excellent music both before and after, but Aqualung was groundbreaking at the time and remains one of the top 10 rock albums ever.

Not a band, more of a solo artist.

They're getting less "unknown" but Paper Route is far and away one of my favorite bands. Their last two albums, "Abscence" and "The Peace of Wild Things" are fantastic!

I'm not sure my choice qualifies as "unknown", but they never made it BIG even though they are still my favorite "concert" band......Wet Willie. A "Southern Rock" band. If you have ever heard anything by them it was probably "Keep on Smiling" or "Weekends". One more favorite is a soloist (mostly) female "blues" singer, Lisa Mills. She can wail!!

Here's another one You've never heard of:

Taxi Ride, they are an Australian band. They flirted with fame, but some how just missed it. Several videos and LPs, The best track (for me) is "Get Set Everybody" really catchy plus musical skills too boot.

Check'em Ouwt!

Okay, here's another one. Don't know why they didn't come to mind in the first place.......GREAT music! Roman Street band

Sort of a "Gypsy Swing" or Flamenco hybrid. The core of the band is the two brothers on guitar. They also have an amazing percussionist and violin player.
