My suggestion would be to start out with something a little less... expensive. If you've never cared for/had a humidor before you may want to buy something from one of the well known online humidor providers, some of which are probably listed here in the retailers section. If you're set on one of the brands you mentioned then any should be good. Just remember to buy as big as you can afford.

The more you spend on the humidor, the less you can spend on cigars... If the Bling Bling factor is important, go for it...

Buy the largest one you can afford....save yourself from buying a second....or a third
You'll be surprised how fast you fill it

For the money you will lay out on one of those, shit, you may as well buy a cabinet...
http://forums.cigarweekly.com/viewtopic.php?t=28112 It all depends on how serious a smoker you are, and if you love beautiful pieces of furniture, because coolers work just as well.... |

I agree with all of the above one way or the other.
Buying a Dunhill, Davidoff, Elie Bleu, etc, you are paying more for the name than anything else as there are plenty of perfectly serviceable desktops for a fraction of the cost. Buy a good, decent one and spend the rest on smokes And I agree with fitzy - I'm a serious 3-4 a day cigar smoker and coolers work fine for me. They aren't the prettiest things, but they work well in keeping some 2000 plus smokes......

Craftmans Bench are a great value, especially if this will be your first humidor.
