OOPS! --- Tap Water

My son has a humidor with the Puck (which is filled with humidifying beads) as its humidifying device. He said that he recently forgot to use distilled water and put a few drops of tap water in. He only did that once. What's the verdict? Should I replace the beads? Do anything in addition to that? Or just leave it alone?

TIA!

No sweat. A few drops woon't hurt. Just be sure to use only distilled from now on. Your smokes will be fine.

I have never used distilled water. I only use tap water. I haven't had any problems in over 35 years. Then again, I don't use any humidifying devices either!

for the same reasons NJ water isn't palletable, it also cannot possibly sustain any living organism/bacteria ect.

Would you like me to send you a bottle of NJ water??

It's free, so I'm sure you can afford it.

Good idea, except that I'm the one who buys him all of his cigars...
