Do I have a beetle factory?

I have a question re temperature of the humidor. Humidity is no problem at steady 68 RH. But I have no way of controlling temperature. here in cali, the summers get 90-100. From the thermometer, the temp in humidor is between 80-85. I don't turn on the AC in the house either. I also don't have an attic or cool place in the house.

Few questions.

1. If I don't get beetles in the first summer with this temp, does that mean there is no beetle larvae

2. how does this wide change in temperatures affect long term storage of cigars.

3. What can I do about this?
