My Palio didn't cut well at first, but after about 6 cuts it just kicked in and has cut perfectly ever since. I even sent Mike an email telling him I wasn't sure about it, but he sounded so confident about this brand that I had to stick with it. Sure glad I did too. The Xikar is now reserved for the occasional office smoke, while the Palio is my regular cutter. I'm looking at the cut I made in the cigar I'm smoking now and it is perfectly concise.
