I been wanting to cover 'Why Get Up' so I found a used copy of T-Birds greatest hits....Still gonna cover the tune but didn't realize how POP-Junk they were. They almost went the 'Peter Frampton' course. Amazing that Kim Wilson is an awesome harp player steeped in blues & Jimmie Vaughan got great chops & they put out junk like that

I have played the same fest as them (later version without Jimmie) & they cooked on blues KW is great. KW is also a great-humble nice guy spent some time chasing my kids, horsing around with them backstage.

The greatest hits had very few (maybe just 1) tune with harp, based on their
talent that greatest hits is garbage.

Glad they got it straight
