I purchased a Cigar Oasis and now i've got a few questions about this humidifier.

The instructions show the area that contains the humidity adjustment. My Oasis has two adjustments in that area. One is the large gray knob with an arrow on it and the other is a resessed potentiometer with a phillips screw head adjustment. Any ideas which one is which?

I put the Oasis and my hygrometer into my new humidor to season it. The oasis only runs for about 2 seconds then shuts off, only to wait a few more seconds and repeat the process. it has been doing this for about 2 hours now and my hyrgometer only reads 63% (yes it has been calibrated and it is only 1% off). Is the Cigar Oasis supposed to run in these very short bursts or run constant until it hits the humidity it's set to?
