Climaxx and coolers

I've been slowly edjumicating myself on the Premier Media and was wondering... I have 5 120qt coolers and 3 68qt. and have been using Ziploc-type sandwich containers with Agrosoke crystals (Lowe's), which keeps them at about 65-68% humidity (I've been using 50/50 PG/distH20 initially, again after a year, distH20 as needed).

My main attraction to the Climaxx is saving the $ and hassle with PG. Will 1 lb be enough for all 8 coolers? I guess what I'm wondering is, does 1 lb of crystal X cover the same space as 1 lb of crystal Y, even though the crystals may not be exactly the same size.

Now that I think about it, is the PG really necessary for the Agrosoke crystals? I was suggested to use it by several tobacconists when I was a real newbie LOL TIA
