also consider:
mold can grow in most humidity levels over 60% depending on the environment and the original condition and storage level of the cigar.
light, surface mold can be brushed off and the cigar can still provide a decnet smoke, but get it out of your humidor ASAP, then take a rag and wipe the inside of your humidor down. if you are talking about storing the cigars in clear plastic containers like tupperware, i advise strongly against this. you need a tropical hardwood or good sppanish cedar that has the ability to properly regualte the moisture. over the next few weeks we will be posting tips & info on humidors, so check us out. one way to properly regulate humidity levels with low maintanence is by using a glycol solution.
