Old Rip Van Winkle 10 year Old Bourbon
Wow! I had forgotten just how much I love Pappy's products!
I took a break from my usual Evan Williams vintages and bought a bottle of Old Rip Van Winkle 10 year old Bourbon. At 107 proof, there's enough fire to cause a taste bud inferno if you don't cut it with a bit of water. However... there's also enough flavor profile to suit everyone on the planet... cinnamon, vanilla, caramel, and an overall smooth, chewy nuttiness that produces a long, pleasant aftertaste. Never had it... try it! Haven't had it in awhile... do yourself a favor and pick up a bottle!
