Yes. Disappointing that the Stones just did two songs then hightailed it out of there . . . leave 'em wanting more, I suppose. It was a great concert though, imo.

Mick really looked old. JJ Flash sounded kinda slow. Roger Water's guitarist tried to sound like Gilmour but didn't quite get there. Bon Jovi was Bon Jovi. That's all I saw. Bon Jovi's acoustic version of Living On A Prayer with the female violinist on the concert a couple days after Sandy was MUCH better- all IMHO of course.

The Who sounded pretty good. After their supper bowl performance a few years back i thought they should hang it up but Daltry's voice was much better this time..

Good concert but more importantly, did it compel you to donate to help the rebuilding in NY/NJ/Long Island? As a native lifelong Long Island and New York City guy, it still is very emotional to me as many of the areas are still far from any sense of normallcy. I was wondering how it affected those outside of NY.

Damn- my memory is bad. Saw Clapton too. Nice seeing him play in a trio again. He's a fine guitarist, but can be lazy & have an extra guitarist & a couple keyboard players doing most of the work. Also, glad they finally changed the promo picture for The Who. Leading up to the show the pic was Townsend, Daltry & the two dead guys.
