Reviving an oldie . . .

I'd have to say Jim Morrison, followed a close second by Freddie Mercury. I'll put Mick in the top 10, maybe 5.

Jerry garcia rarely spoke in concert but if he did it was like "holy shit. Jerry just spoke" if he would have told the crowd of mostly hippie type attitudes to storm the castle I think they would have.

Cobain was another frontman that could set the stage.

Lastly. Anyone seen bruce dickinson live? He is the frontman for iron maiden. He can get a group going.

the best showman I ever saw on stage was Ian Anderson.

Best rock voice I ever heard on stage was Peter Gabriel, though Annie Lennox is a close second.

Most fun, though, is David Byrne, and I'm a big fan.

Iggy Pop was close, but even he was no Joey.

I know I said it before, but it bears repeating. No single band/front man had as much influence on music. Ever. Period.
