Cigar crunch

Due to the acquisiton of mostly isoms, I am in the process of trying to reduce my RH from 70% to 65%. At 70%, I never have any cigar crunch when squeezing my cigars but am starting to notice this as my RH drops - is the crunch normal at the lower 65% or is something amiss? I was always under the impression that if the cigars crunch when you squeeze them then they are too dry. Is this not true?
