The Eagles
Forerunners of modern country...ie...country-soft-rock sound?
I think so. I don't think the Eagles would ever be confused with Led Zeppelin, nor Conway Twitty, but I think some of their best stuff had that country rock sound to it. Lying Eyes, The Long Run...etc.
