Operation Hope: An Evening of Cigars, Camaraderie and Caring sponsored by Altadis U.S.A. will be taking place all over the country throughout October and Novemeber. The monies raised go to Operation Hope, a charity sponsored by Altadis.

The Montecristo Relief Organization was founded in 1999 byAltadis U.S.A. – a company with a reputation for treating its employees as family -and giving back to its communities - after two devastating hurricanes swept through the Caribbean causing unimaginable terror and
destruction. Over 11,000 people were killed, millions injured and millions more left homeless and without means of support. Over the past 10 years, the Montecristo Relief Organization has donated millions of dollars to build homes, schools and medical facilities and provide scholarships and economic opportunities for victims in the Caribbean and the United States.


Consumers attending the event make a $75 donation to the charity. In return they receive special limited edition gift boxes of Montecristo cigars and Signature Accessories valued at over $125. Perhaps most importantly, attendees will share the good feeling of knowing they’re contributing to a vital cause.

ALBUQUERQUE TOBACCONIST TO HOST “OPERATION HOPE” TO BENEFIT VICTIMS OF NATURAL DISASTERS

On Friday, October 9th, Monte’s Pueblo Pipe Shop will host “Operation Hope - A Special Day of Cigars, Camaraderie and Caring” to benefit the Montecristo Relief Organization. The event will be held between 12:00 and 4:00 PM.

The Relief Organization was founded in 1999 byAltadis U.S.A. - a company with a reputation for treating its employees as family and giving back to its communities - after two devastating hurricanes swept through the Caribbean causing unimaginable terror and destruction. Over 11,000 people were killed, millions injured and millions more left homeless and without means of support.

Over the past 10 years, the Montecristo Relief Organization has donated millions of dollars to build homes, schools and medical facilities and provide scholarships and economic opportunities for victims in the Caribbean and the United States.

In return for their $75 donation, Operation Hope attendees will enjoy limited edition gift packages of Montecristo luxury cigars and Signature
Accessories, valued at over $125, as well as the good feeling of knowing they’re contributing to an important cause. “We are extremely grateful to our retailers and consumers who have supported the Relief Organization over the years,” said Altadis U.S.A.
