All this talk about limp wristed musical entities I figured it was time to break up the mix a bit. I Luciferi is Danzigs newest album despite the fact it's been out for quite some time. In my opinion his best album yet, lyrically a very dark (of course

) CD, musically a much heavier and dirtier sound than earlier albums. The whole CD is very engaging for me as a listener, it's fun, it's powerful, it's evil, it's Danzig at his best.

I use to love listening to Lucifuge or whatever that cd was back then.

I just picked up the rest of the cd series, II Lucifuge and III How the Gods Kill, both very good in an odd sort of way

I listen to Danzig I, II, and II, along with Thrall qite often. When did I Luciferi come out?

If you like Danzig, you might like Type O Negative too.

I just couldn't resist that remark. I haven't heard the newest one, but I enjoyed many of their previous releases.

By best are you including only his Danzig work? Compared to the Misfits and Samhain everything since IS limp wristed.
