My boss brought me the new Bonnie Raitt to listen to and overall I say IT SUCKS unless you like pop music
Little Feat "Waiting For Columbus" has been reissued with 11 more live cuts from that time period. It took me a milisecond to decided to order that sucker. A great CD just got greater

It's a departure from her other music, but I wouldn't say it sucks.

I didn't think it was departure from what she has been doing. It was the same ole stuff to me. There was mostly nothing that set it apart from any other made for radio CD. A couple exceptions but mainly just fluff. It doesn't suck in general but relative to Bonnie Raitt's talent it sucks. That's my take and my wifes who is a bigger fan of current BR music than I agreed. Just MHO and we are all different.
